This study was observed influence of mother¢¥s age and physical feature upon anthropometric and hematological data, Nutritional status of new-born infants. The physical features, age, duration of pregnancy and the order of parturition of 122 mothers having been hospitalized in Han Yang University Hospital from April 1st to June 30th, 1976 and the anthropometric (weight, length, chest circumference, head circumference and arm circumference) and hematological (hemoglobin and hematocrit) data of 122 infants were compared and the following results are obtained. 1. No significant influence of mother¢¥s age and physical feature upon the anthropometric and hematological data of new-born infants was observed. 2. In the case of anthropometric study significant influence of duration of pregnancy was observed, but the changes in hematological values were not significant. 3. No significant influence of the order of parturition was observed. 4. The weights of new-born infants were closely related with other anthropometric and hematological data and so it was confirmed that they are valuable indices for the health and nutritional status of new-born infants.
